Deskside Support Analyst (31766)

Greyhound is seeking a Deskside Support Analyst. In this position, you will assist in the support and maintenance of the organization's desktop infrastructure environments including installation, upgrades, high-level troubleshooting, patching, and software deployments needed to seamlessly manage thousands of computers located at multiple locations.



  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve problems
  • Master of End User Computing Support, troubleshooting, and customer service and act as an escalation point as needed
  • Proactive on potential customer issues and IT environment health
  • Administer and experience migrating on a team or autonomously, on-premise Exchange of O365
  • Provide technical expertise in researching, identifying, evaluating, recommending and/or developing information security systems, controls, methods, techniques and models
  • Contribute to the organization, processes, teams and product in a significant manner
  • Adhere to organizational processes and procedures
  • Exhibit initiative to complete tasks in a timely manner
  • Display leadership qualities by taking ownership of assigned responsibilities
  • Significant contributor to the education of Field Tech Support and Help Desk support personnel
  • Author SOPs as needed or directed
  • Participate in and contribute to the planning and execution of business continuity and disaster recovery capabilities and testing
  • Responsible for fully documenting assigned tickets to show all work performed in order to pass SLRs
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate Service Now entries for assigned tickets

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or 12 years of technical support experience with an Associate’s degree
  • Minimum 8 years of technical support experience
  • Strong experience with Windows Servers: Active Directory, Group Policy (editing and administration), Domain Controllers, printer servers, etc.
  • Expert with remote troubleshooting methods
